About Me

My name is Alexis Marea Ann Kahlert. I live on acreage with my family in Maple Ridge, BC, which is about an hour out of Vancouver. I am the oldest of 4 siblings. My brother John Paul plays rep hockey and is a competitive golfer. My sister Miranda is a competitive figure skater and dances. My youngest sister Aurora plays boys hockey and runs track. 

I attend Thomas Haney Secondary School. Thomas Haney has a self directed learning program which makes it more like university than a traditional high school. I made the principals list in Grade 8 and received a math award for outstanding achievement in Grade 9. 

I am a member of the school golf team and work on the yearbook. I am a student aide in the library. I enjoy technology education and so have created and maintain this website myself.

Aside from hockey, I have previously competed in both figure skating and canoeing/kayaking. In my spare time, I am an avid reader and I love to bake.

I enjoy working with kids. I have had the opportunity to be an assistant coach both on and off the ice and enjoy helping out at any hockey development sessions I can. In the future I would like to have a career in teaching or coaching.
